Selected fellows will receive a comprehensive financial package for up to two years, including:
Monthly overseas living allowance
Monthly sustenance allowance (with CPF contribution)

Full support during overseas postdoctoral placement
Service Commitment:
Upon completion, scholars must return to Singapore and serve three (3) years at A*STAR research institutes or related organizations.

Excellent publication record
Secured or applying for a postdoctoral position at a top overseas institution
AIF – Innovation Track
Strong interest in innovation & entrepreneurship
Preferably good publications and industry exposure
Mid-Term Applicants
Must be Singaporean
Already enrolled in an overseas postdoctoral position
Current supervisor must be one of the referees

Is the A*STAR International Fellowship fully funded? Yes, the AIF is a fully funded postdoctoral fellowship covering monthly living allowance, airfare, insurance, conference grants, settling-in allowance, and additional research support for up to two years.
Can international students apply for the A*STAR Fellowship? Foreign applicants with exceptional research records may apply, but they must obtain Singapore citizenship before starting the fellowship. Priority is given to Singapore citizens and PR holders.
