High school diploma (UAE curriculum or equivalent)
Meeting English proficiency (TOEFL/IELTS/EmSAT)
Must meet required CGPA (varies by scholarship)

For Master’s Scholarships
Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution
Minimum required CGPA (3.0–3.5 depending on scholarship)

Types of Abu Dhabi University Scholarships
1. H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Scholarship (Fully Funded – 100% Fee Waiver)
For top 20 UAE public secondary school graduates
Covers 100% tuition, registration, application, student services & health fees
EmSAT requirements: Math: 1200, English: 1600, Arabic: 900
2. Academic Scholarship (Undergraduate)
20% tuition waiver
Requires CGPA 3.60+ for two consecutive semesters
3. Athletic Scholarship (Undergraduate)
25% tuition waiver
Requires CGPA 2.75
Must be an active athlete on ADU sports teams
4. Merit-Based Graduate Scholarship (Postgraduate)
25% tuition waiver
Requires Bachelor’s CGPA of 3.5 or higher
5. Alumni Scholarship
For ADU graduates pursuing postgraduate programs
20–25% tuition waiver
