This scholarship is intended for Arizona high school seniors entering college for the first time.
Eligibility
To qualify for the Beaty Martinez Foundation Scholarship, applicants must:
Be an Arizona high school senior
Be accepted to an Arizona in-state university or community college
Be an Arizona resident for tuition purposes
Have a minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent)
Demonstrate financial need
Enroll full-time (minimum 12 credit hours per semester)

Eligible students should complete the following steps:
Complete the Online Scholarship Application
Includes short-answer essay questions and a personal statement
Obtain Two Letters of Recommendation
From teachers, counselors, or community leaders
Submit Academic Records
Copy of unofficial high school transcripts
Submit All Materials Online
Applications must be submitted through the official scholarship application form
Application Deadline: May 1.
Selection Process Timeline
Applications are reviewed by the Beaty Martinez Foundation Board of Directors
Review begins approximately six weeks after the application deadline
Finalists may be invited for interviews before final selection
Scholarship funds are disbursed in August, directly to the institution
