Eligibility

Applicants must:

Be an international (fee-paying) student
Hold an offer for an eligible postgraduate-taught programme
Meet or exceed the published academic and English language requirements
Accept the offer and pay any required deposit by the deadline
Apply to Cardiff University before the relevant cut-off date
Be domiciled in an eligible country
Note: Students who are admitted with lower grades than the published minimum will not be eligible for this scholarship, even if they receive an offer.

The scholarship is available to international students from selected countries, including:

£3,500 Award Countries
Ghana, India, Iran, Iraq, Japan, Malaysia, Nepal, Sri Lanka, South Africa, Tanzania, Thailand, Turkey, UAE, Uganda, USA, Zambia, and many European, Asian, and Middle Eastern countries.
£6,000 Award Countries
Cyprus, Egypt, Greece, Jordan, Kenya, Mexico, Pakistan, Taiwan
£10,000 Award Countries
Bangladesh, Nigeria
Note: Students from Pakistan are eligible for a £6,000 tuition-fee discount.
