China Agriculture University 2025 Chinese Government Scholarship (Fully Funded) is available to undertake Masters, PhD level programs at China Agriculture University.

Eligibility

To qualify, you must meet the following criteria: Nationality: Non-Chinese citizens with a valid passport. Academic Requirements: Master’s applicants: A Bachelor's degree and under 35 years old. Doctoral applicants: A Master's degree and under 40 years old. Language Proficiency: English-Taught Programs: Minimum IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL iBT 90. Chinese-Taught Programs: HSK Level 4. Health and Conduct: Physically fit with no criminal record. Frequently Asked Questions Q: Can I apply without Chinese language proficiency? A: Yes, for English-taught programs, you don’t need Chinese language scores at the time of application. However, you must achieve International Chinese Language Level 3 by graduation. Q: Are travel expenses covered? A: No, international travel costs are self-funded. Q: Is the scholarship renewable annually? A: Yes, scholarship recipients undergo an annual evaluation for renewal.

Application Procedure

Follow these steps to apply:

Step 1: Gather Documents

Prepare the following:

Completed application forms for CAU and CSC systems.
Passport copy (valid until at least December 2025).
Notarized academic transcripts and diplomas.
Language proficiency certificates (IELTS/TOEFL or HSK).
Two recommendation letters.
A detailed study or research plan (1,000+ words).
Physical Examination Record and non-criminal report.
Step 2: Online Applications
CAU Application Portal: Submit your details at apply.cau.edu.cn.
CSC Application System: Register at campuschina.org using Type B and agency number 10019.
Step 3: Pre-Admission Notice
After initial evaluation, CAU may issue a pre-admission notice for successful candidates
Step 4: Final Submission
Upload the pre-admission notice to the CSC system.
Important Dates
Application Period: November 15, 2024 – February 28, 2025.
Admission Results: Issued in July 2025.
Program Start: September 2025.
