Eligibility

To apply for the CIMPA-ICTP "Research in Pairs" Fellowship 2026, candidates must meet the following requirements: Hold a PhD in Mathematics for at least three years before applying. Be employed at a university or academic institution in a developing country for the past five years. Have a European research partner based in Germany, Spain, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, or Switzerland. Be willing to record and broadcast an 8-hour mathematics mini-course in English or French during their visit. Submit a detailed research proposal along with a supporting letter from the European host.
