COCOSO Marie Curie PhD Scholarships 2025 (Fully Funded and Without IELTS) is available to undertake PhD level programs at Denmark Universities, Austria Universities, Spain Universities, Romania Universities, Poland Universities, Greece Universities, Portugal Universities.

Eligibility

The COCOSO (Co-Construction in Social Welfare) Industrial Doctoral Network is a prestigious Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Doctoral Network that offers 15 fully funded PhD positions from 2025 to 2028. This program provides an exceptional opportunity for early-stage researchers to engage in interdisciplinary research on social welfare, democracy, and innovation, combining academic training with real-world industry experience. Eligibility Criteria for COCOSO PhD Program To apply for the COCOSO Doctoral Network (2025 - 2028), candidates must meet the following criteria: Early-Stage Researcher Status Applicants must not have a PhD at the time of recruitment. They should be eligible to enroll in a doctoral program. Mobility Rule (MSCA Requirements) Candidates must not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc.) in the country of the recruiting institution for more than 12 months in the last 36 months before their recruitment date. Academic Background Applicants should have a Master’s degree (or equivalent) in social sciences, political science, law, public policy, or related disciplines relevant to social welfare and democratic participation. Commitment to Industry Collaboration Researchers must be willing to spend at least 50% of their research time working directly with non-academic partners (such as NGOs, public institutions, or social welfare organizations). Proficiency in English Strong communication skills in English are required as all research, training, and collaboration activities will be conducted in English. Interest in Social Welfare & Democracy Candidates should have a keen interest in participatory governance, social policy innovation, and co-construction models.

Competitive Salary: Researchers receive a monthly salary as per MSCA funding rates. Mobility Allowance: Additional financial support for relocation and travel. Family Allowance (if applicable):Candidates with dependents may receive extra financial support. 2. International & Interdisciplinary Training PhD candidates collaborate across six European universities and 16 public/non-governmental sector organizations. Regular international study sessions (every six months) in different European countries. Online and in-person research workshops with leading academics and industry experts. 3. Industry & Practical Experience Researchers will work directly with social welfare organizations, applying academic research to real-world policy and social impact initiatives.
