Eligibility
To qualify for the Chinese Government Scholarship, applicants must meet the following prerequisites: Be a non-Chinese citizen in good physical and mental health. Hold a Bachelor’s degree (for Master’s programs) or a Master’s degree (for Doctoral programs).Age limit: Under 35 for Master’s programs; under 40 for Doctoral programs. Meet language requirements: English-taught programs: IELTS ≥ 6.5 or TOEFL ≥ 80. Chinese-taught programs: HSK 4 or higher. Not hold other scholarships.

Application Procedure
The application period is from November 1, 2024, to March 30, 2025 . Follow these steps for a successful application:
Visit the CSC Online Application System: studyinchina.csc.edu.cn.
Use CQUPT’s Agency Number (10617) and select Type B.
Submit your application and download the completed form.
Visit the CQUPT International Student Service System: https://cqupt.17gz.org/
Choose the Chinese Government Scholarship and upload all required documents.
Ensure you prepare the following documents:
Completed CSC Scholarship Application Form.
Diploma and certificates (with notarized translations if not in Chinese or English).
Academic transcripts from previous institutions.
A detailed Research Proposal (Master: ≥1000 words, Doctoral: ≥1500 words).
Study Plan explaining your goals during and after graduation.
Curriculum Vitae (CV) outlining academic and professional achievements.
Two recommendation letters from professors or associate professors.
Copy of a valid passport and passport-sized photo.
Physical examination form (valid for six months).
Non-criminal record certificate.
Language proficiency certificate (e.g., HSK, IELTS, TOEFL).
Pre-admission Letter from CQUPT (if applicable).
