Eligibility
To be eligible for the Deakin Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria: Prospective international student: You must be applying for a coursework degree at Deakin University. Deakin University eligibility: You must meet the admission requirements for your chosen course. Academic performance: A minimum average of 85% (or equivalent) in your previous studies is required. Due to the competitive nature of this scholarship, higher scores may be needed.

Full or partial tuition fee coverage: Recipients of the DVCIS may receive either 100% or 50% tuition fee coverage, providing substantial financial relief. However, this bursary does not apply to H911 (Doctor of Medicine). Vice-Chancellor's Professional Excellence Program: Scholarship holders are required to participate in this exclusive program, which aims to enhance their professional development. Accommodation priority: Although accommodation fees are not covered, recipients will receive priority placement for on-campus accommodation (subject to availability).

A personal statement (300 words) outlining their motivation for studying at Deakin, extracurricular activities, work experience, and reasons why they would be an excellent ambassador for the university. Two references supporting the applicant’s community engagement and leadership potential. An application for admission to Deakin University, including academic transcripts. How to Apply Prospective students are advised to submit their scholarship application at least one month prior to commencing their studies at Deakin. Completed applications should be emailed to the Deakin International Admissions office.
