To be eligible for the EPFL Master Excellence Fellowship, applicants must:

Apply to an EPFL Master’s program
Demonstrate excellent academic performance
Show strong extracurricular involvement

Be either:

An EPFL Bachelor’s graduate, or
A graduate from another recognized university
Both Swiss and international students are eligible.

Fellowship Renewal Criteria

To renew the fellowship for the second year of the Master’s program, students must:

Earn at least 50 ECTS credits
Maintain an overall average of 5.0 / 6.0

Application Procedure

Apply to an eligible EPFL Master’s program
During the application process, check the box indicating interest in the Excellence Fellowship
Upload the required application documents
Internal EPFL candidates continuing in the same field apply directly through their academic section
There is no separate fellowship application outside the Master’s admission process.
