2025 2026 High School Scholarship Amounts

The scholarship amount varies depending on the family income and the number of dependent children. The amounts for the 2025-2026 school year are as follows:

Step 1 : €495 (or €165 per quarter)
Step 2 : €609 (or €203 per quarter)
Step 3 : €720 (or €240 per quarter)
Step 4 : €831 (or €277 per quarter)
Step 5 : €939 (or €313 per quarter)
Step 6 : €1,053 (or €351 per quarter)
Scholarships are paid in three installments : at the end of December, March, and June.

Additional Premiums And Bonuses

In addition to the standard scholarship, there are several additional premiums available:

Equipment Premium : A €341.71 bonus paid in one lump sum for first-year students of certain vocational programs, such as CAP, professional baccalaureate, and technological baccalaureate.
Internship Bonus : Automatically awarded to internal students with national scholarships. The amount ranges from €327 (for Step 1) to €672 (for Step 6).
Return-to-School Bonus : A €600 bonus for students aged 16-18 returning to education after a break of at least 5 months.

How To Apply For The 2025 High School Scholarship

If you consented last year to the automatic scholarship review , you do not need to take any action. Your eligibility will be automatically reassessed. If you did not consent last year, the application period for the 2025 school year starts on September 1, 2025 , and ends on October 16, 2025 .

If your child attends a private high school, the application process is the same as for public schools. Use the scholarship form and submit it with the necessary documents to the school’s administration by October 16, 2025 .
Students enrolled in the Cned (National Center for Distance Learning) must submit their application through the scholarship service of their respective academy by October 16, 2025 .
