Eligibility

The IEEE ITSS Fellowship Program 2025 is open to:

Individuals from all backgrounds, especially those contributing diverse perspectives to the ITS community.

Women in Engineering (WiE) and Young Professionals (YP).

Active members who show a commitment to participating in future ITSS events, including committees, conferences, and webinars.

Applicants must be IEEE ITSS members, as proof of membership is required.

Participants willing to engage in reviewing processes for ITS flagship conferences.

Fellowship Streams

The 2025 Fellowship Program includes three unique streams to accommodate diverse contributions:

Social Media Ambassadors

Designed for individuals skilled in social media outreach, this stream aims to amplify the message of ITSS through innovative content, including podcasts, videos, and social media campaigns.

Key Activities: Engaging the community, showcasing event highlights, and supporting ITSS’s social media strategy.

Committee Involvement: Outreach Activities Committee.

First-Time Attendees

Targeted at emerging talents, this stream supports first-time attendees of the ITS Forum, fostering inclusivity and diversity by encouraging participation from women, underrepresented groups, and young professionals.

Key Activities: Participate in discussions, network with experts, and contribute new perspectives.

Committee Involvement: DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging) Committee.

Outstanding Contributors

This stream acknowledges individuals who have made significant contributions to the ITS community, whether through innovative projects or academic achievements.

Key Activities: Enhance ITS research and industry practices, develop educational content, and support standardization.

Committee Involvement: Technical, Educational, Publications, Membership, or Standards Committees.

Degree Level

France IEEE-ITSS Fellowship Program 2025 (Fully Funded) is available to undertake Fellowship level programs at France Universities.

Selected fellows will receive:

Full Coverage of Expenses: Including plane tickets, accommodation, and event registration.

Recognition as IEEE ITSS Ambassadors: Fellows will be named “IEEE ITSS Ambassadors” within their institutions or regions, promoting ITSS through social media, blogs, and videos.

Active Involvement: Fellows will participate in organizing various ITS activities and conferences, contributing to the growth of the ITS community.

Professional Exposure: Access to technical tours and networking opportunities with industry leaders.

Young Reviewers Program: All fellowship recipients will join the Young Reviewers Program and participate in the conference reviewing process.

Project Completion Phase: April 16 to June 15, 2025.

Final Report Submission: June 20, 2025.

Project Proposal Guidelines

Proposal Title

Applicant Information: Name, affiliation, and email address.

Project Details: Maximum 500 words, explaining the proposed project and its impact.

Timeline: Outline the milestones with a focus on 4-week intervals.

Bio and Statement of Interest: Maximum 200 words, including previous ITSS involvement.

Submission: Upload the PDF proposal to the official submission form.
