Eligibility
To apply for the IMPRS-ML PhD program, you need one of the following degrees:
MSc (Master of Science) or equivalent (preferred entry level, ~300 ECTS)
Integrated 5-year MSc (e.g., European Bologna System)
4-year BSc Hons (EU, UK, Australia, Canada only) – equivalent to 240 ECTS, with possible additional coursework in Munich
Not eligible:
Candidates with only a 4-year BSc degree from the USA, Asia, Africa, or Turkey.
Holders of medical (MBBS, MD, veterinary medicine) degrees.
Minimum grade requirement: Between 1.0 and 2.5 (German grading system), based on the “Bavarian Formula” grade conversion tool.
