Eligibility

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Geoinformatics, Geomatics, Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing, Civil Engineering, Geography, Environmental Sciences, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant professional experience is an advantage. Strong motivation to pursue a career in GIS, Photogrammetry, or Remote Sensing. English language proficiency (TOEFL/IELTS or equivalent, unless degree was taught in English).

The curriculum is designed to combine scientific knowledge with practical training in the field of Photogrammetry, Geoinformatics, and Remote Sensing.

Semester 1

Geographical Information Systems (GIS): Spatial Databases, Vector & Raster GIS, Spatial Analysis, Thematic Mapping Photogrammetry & Remote Sensing: Basic Sensors, Photogrammetric Workflow, Remote Sensing Workflow Geostatistics & Surface Modelling: DTM, Interpolation, Statistical Methods Scientific & Intercultural Skills: Media Competence, Language, Intercultural Training

Semester 2

Planning & Management: Project Analysis, Resource Management, Marketing Advanced Photogrammetry & Remote Sensing: Digital Photogrammetry, LiDAR, Image Classification Geodata Capture & Standards: GPS, Metadata, Data Interfaces Customisation & Internet GIS: 3D City Models, Internet GIS, Visualisation Electives: RADAR, Advanced Programming

Semester 3

Master’s Thesis Project (Research + Seminar, at HFT or external partner university/company)
