GKS South Korean Government Undergraduate Scholarship 2025 (Fully Funded) is available to undertake level programs at South Korea Universities.

Eligibility

Level of Education Bachelor's Degree: For applicants who have graduated (or will graduate) from high school or an associate degree program. Associate Degree: For applicants who have graduated (or will graduate) from high school. Previous Degrees: Applicants with a bachelor's degree cannot apply. Associate degree holders can only apply to a bachelor's program. Expected Graduation: Applicants expected to graduate by December 31, 2024, must submit a certificate of expected graduation at application time. A graduation or degree certificate must be submitted by December 31, 2024, or the acceptance will be canceled. Provisional Graduation Certificate: Applicants submitting provisional certificates will be considered as expected to graduate. Grades Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA): Must meet one of these conditions: Score percentile of 80% or above on a 100-point scale. Ranked within the top 20% of one's class. CGPA equal to or above 2.64/4.0, 2.80/4.3, 2.91/4.5, or 3.23/5.0. Previous Degree Program: High school for associate degree applicants, high school or associate degree for bachelor's degree applicants. Missing CGPA Information: Applicants without CGPA information or unable to convert grades must submit additional documentation from their school/university describing the grading system. Expected Graduates: Calculate the most recent CGPA at the time of application. Age Age Limit: Must be under 25 years of age (born after March 1, 2000). Health Good Health: All applicants must be in good mental and physical health to study in Korea for the full program duration.

Eligible Nationalities

Citizenship: All applicants must hold citizenship of NIIED-designated countries invited to participate in the GKS program. Parental Citizenship: Applicants' parents (or legal guardians) must hold citizenship from a country other than Korea. Dual citizens (those with both Korean and another citizenship) are ineligible. Previous Korean Citizenship: Applicants and their parents who previously held Korean citizenship must submit documentation proving renunciation of Korean citizenship. Citizenship Change: Citizenship changes during the selection process may lead to exclusion. (Not applicable to UIC applicants)
