Eligibility
Griffith University is seeking exceptional candidates for higher degree research scholarships in the fields of health sciences, social science, health services research, and health policy. Successful applicants will possess a strong academic background and a passion for advancing knowledge and practice in disability and rehabilitation services. Key Requirements: Academic Excellence: A strong academic record in health sciences, social science, health services research, or health policy. Research Focus: A demonstrated interest in disability and rehabilitation services, with a desire to contribute to research in areas such as rehabilitation service delivery, sustainable employment after injury, accessible inclusive technologies, and enriching environments for independence. Educational Qualifications: Completion (or expected completion) of a bachelor's degree with first-class honors or a master's degree (AQF Level 9) with a significant research component equivalent to a bachelor's honors degree. Candidates with an equivalent level of attainment as recognized by Griffith University may also be considered. English Language Proficiency (for international applicants): IELTS (Academic): Minimum overall band score of 6.5 with no band score less than 6.0 Paper-based TOEFL: Minimum score of 575 with a score of no less than 5.0 on the TWE Internet-based (iBT) TOEFL: Minimum score of 79 with no sub-score less than 19

The 2024 Griffith University Postgraduate Research Scholarship has an annual stipend of $33,480 (indexed) for a period of up to three years of full-time study. Please see the GUPRS Conditions of Award for more information. A successful International applicant will also be awarded a Griffith University International Postgraduate Research Scholarship to cover tuition fees for up to three years. Please see the GUIPRS Conditions of Award for more information.
