Eligibility
To apply for GDUFE’s postgraduate scholarships, applicants must: Be non-Chinese citizens aged 18-40 with a valid passport. Hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. Have English proficiency (IELTS 6.0, TOEFL IBT 80, Duolingo 112, or equivalent) for English-taught programs. Have HSK 5 (score 210+) for Chinese-taught programs. Be in good health and meet visa and medical requirements.

Available Master's Programs GDUFE offers five postgraduate programs for international students: International Trade (Master of Economics) – School of Economics (English-taught, 3 years, 15 slots) Digital Economy (Master of Digital Economy) – School of Digital Economics (English-taught, 2 years, 20 slots) International Chinese Language Education (Master of International Chinese Language Education) – School of Humanities & Communication (Chinese-taught, 3 years, 20 slots) Publishing (Master of Publishing) – School of Humanities & Communication (Chinese-taught, 2 years, 20 slots) Journalism & Communication (Master of Journalism & Communication) – School of Humanities & Communication (Chinese-taught, 3 years, 20 slots)
Benefits
Guangdong Government Outstanding International Student Scholarship – 20,000 RMB per year for qualified candidates. Education Fund for Freshmen – Up to 30,000 RMB for high-achieving students (not cumulative with the Guangdong Government Scholarship). Full Tuition Coverage – 25,000 RMB per year. Accommodation – Single room (12,000 RMB/year) or twin room (6,000 RMB/year). Health Insurance – 800 RMB/year.

This scholarship is open to international students of all nationalities except Chinese.

Application Procedure
Submit applications online at GDUFE’s portal before June 1, 2025 . Provide required documents, including: Application Form Passport copy Transcripts & Degree Certificate Resume & Study Plan Recommendation Letters Financial Support Statement Language Proficiency Certificate Health Examination & Non-Criminal Record Certificate Attend an online or offline interview (if shortlisted). Receive admission results by email. Apply for a student visa (X1/X2) and register at GDUFE in September 2025.
