Eligibility
Educational Qualifications: Master's program applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree and be under 35 years old. Doctoral program applicants must hold a Master's degree and be under 40 years old. Language Proficiency: Programs taught in Chinese require an HSK Level 4 or above. Applicants failing to meet the HSK requirement can apply for a one-year Chinese language course and must pass the test before beginning their major studies.

Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens in good health. The scholarship is available only for new students (those already studying in China are ineligible).

Application Procedure
To apply for the GXNU Chinese Government Scholarship 2025 , follow these steps:
Contact the GXNU Admissions Office to obtain details and preliminary guidance.
Pre-admission: Candidates recommended by GXNU will receive a pre-admission notice.
Register on the official Chinese Government Scholarship Information System at studyinchina.csc.edu.cn.
Choose 'Program Category Type B' and enter GXNU’s agency number: 10602.
Submit the required documents online.
Applicants must submit the following documents:
Completed Application Form ( downloadable from the CSC website )
Personal Statement and Study Plan (minimum 800 words in Chinese or English)
Academic Transcripts and highest degree certificate (notarized)
Recommendation Letters (two letters from professors or associate professors)
HSK Certificate (if applying for Chinese-taught programs)
Passport Copy (scanned copy required)
Non-criminal Record Certificate
Foreigner Physical Examination Form (must include sealed photograph and signature)
Application materials should be in Chinese or English ; other languages require notarized translations.
Applicants cannot hold other scholarships simultaneously.
Incomplete applications or those failing to meet requirements will be rejected.
