Hainan University Chinese Government Scholarship 2025, China (Fully Funded) is available to undertake Masters, PhD, Bachelor level programs at Hainan University.
Eligibility
The scholarship supports undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral studies under two main programs: 1. Bilateral Program (Type A) Apply via the dispatching authority in your home country (e.g., Ministry of Education). Bachelor’s Degree: under 25 years old with a high school diploma Master’s Degree: under 35 years old with a bachelor’s degree Doctorate Degree: under 40 years old with a master’s degree General Scholar: under 45 years old with a high school diploma Senior Scholar: under 50 years old with a master’s degree and associate professor title 2. Chinese University Program (Type B) – Hainan University Agency Code: 10589 Apply directly to Hainan University for degree programs only. Bachelor’s: under 25, with a high school diploma Master’s: under 35, with a bachelor’s degree PhD: under 40, with a master’s degree Language Requirements: Chinese-taught programs: HSK Level 4 (≥180) English-taught programs: IELTS ≥6.0 or TOEFL ≥78 (or native English-speaking country exemption)

Valid passport (must be valid beyond Sept 2025)
Highest diploma and academic transcripts
Study plan or research proposal (at least 1,000 words)
Two academic recommendation letters
Language proficiency certificate (HSK, IELTS/TOEFL)
Physical Examination Form (within 6 months)
Non-criminal record certificate
Pre-admission letter or invitation from a supervisor (optional but strongly recommended)
Employment proof (if applicable)
CV with publications (if applicable)

Apply to your home country’s scholarship dispatching authority.
Obtain a pre-admission letter from Hainan University.
Apply online at CSC Portal.
Submit documents to your local authority before their deadline.
For Type B (University Program):
Register and apply at:
