Eligibility

To qualify for the Hearts for Community Service Scholarship, applicants must meet all of the following requirements:

Be a resident of an eligible U.S. state
Have a minimum GPA of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale (or GED equivalent)
Be enrolled or planning to enroll in a post-secondary institution
Be actively involved in community service or volunteer work

Open to:

High school students (including dually enrolled)
High school graduates
GED recipients
Trade school students
Undergraduate and postgraduate students
Demonstrate financial need

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the Hearts for Community Service Scholarship, applicants must meet all of the following requirements:

Application Procedure

Applicants must complete the application during the open period (June 1 – June 30) and submit the following materials:

Essay (Minimum 500 Words) addressing:

How you serve your community and the impact of your service
How volunteerism has influenced your life
How the scholarship will support your educational goals
What post-secondary education means to you
Academic Transcript: Minimum GPA of 2.75 or GED equivalent
Proof of Enrollment or Acceptance: From a post-secondary institution
Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.
