Eligibility
To qualify for HessenFonds, applicants must meet specific requirements: For Students: Recognized refugee or asylum seeker status. Enrolled at a state university in Hesse. Outstanding academic performance. For Doctoral Candidates: Accepted as a doctoral student with a supervision agreement at a Hessian university. Proven academic or research excellence. For Researchers: Evidence of a research or teaching placement offer from a university in Hesse. Significant contributions to research and/or teaching. Additional Requirements: Applicants should have been in Germany for no more than four years, with exceptions up to seven years for those raising children. Reapplication is possible with justification.
