Eligibility
To be eligible for the Hungarian Summer University Scholarship 2025, applicants must:
Hold Citizenship from a country with a bilateral agreement with Hungary (e.g., Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Egypt, etc.).
Individual Applicants: Citizens from over 40 eligible countries (including USA, UK, Germany, India, Japan, and more) can also apply.
Be at Least 18 Years Old at the time of application.
Not Hold Hungarian Citizenship (including dual citizenship, permanent residency, or refugee status in Hungary).

Selected candidates will receive: Tuition-Free Participation: Scholarship covers course tuition fees. Free Accommodation & Meals: Fully covered housing and meal plans during the course. Diverse Course Offerings: Options include Hungarian as a foreign language, Hungarology, and thematic (non-linguistic) courses. Note: Travel costs to and within Hungary, as well as return expenses, are not covered by the scholarship.

Applicants must complete the online application process via the Tempus Public Foundation’s official application portal: Visit: apply.diasporascholarship.hu. Create an Account: Register with an email and password. Upload Required Documents: Submit all necessary paperwork for review. Select Courses: Candidates can choose up to two (02) course preferences, but will be admitted to only one. Submit Application Before Deadline.
