Eligibility

To be considered for the President’s PhD Scholarship, applicants must:

Be applying for a new PhD programme at Imperial College London

Hold or expect to receive:

A First Class or equivalent Bachelor’s degree, OR
A Distinction in a Master’s degree
Demonstrate exceptional academic achievement and research potential
Have identified and contacted a supervisor at Imperial College London who agrees to supervise their project
Meet the academic and admission requirements of the chosen department
Be eligible to begin their PhD within Imperial’s approved start period
Current Imperial PhD students are not eligible
Applicants from non-traditional academic backgrounds or with exceptional research potential may also be considered under special or alternate pathways.
