Institute for Law and AI USA Summer Fellowship 2025 (Fully Funded) is available to undertake Fellowship level programs at Institute for Law and AI (LawAI).

Fellowship Structure Remote Fellowship: A preparatory phase lasting 8-12 weeks. On-Site Fellowship: A week-long immersive experience in Washington D.C. from July 7-11, 2025.

Eligibility

The LawAI Summer Fellowship encourages applications from diverse backgrounds, including: Graduate law students (JD or LLM), PhD candidates, and postdoctoral researchers. Professionals transitioning into AI law and policy. Legal academics with a keen interest in AI and its implications. Previous experience in AI-specific research is not required, so don’t hesitate to apply even if you’re new to this field!
