This scholarship is not available for graduate or postgraduate studies.

Eligibility

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

Academic Performance:

High school seniors: Minimum GPA 3.0

College freshmen/sophomores: Minimum GPA 2.75

Age Requirement:

Applicants must be 20 years old or younger

Residency:

Must reside in eligible U.S. states or D.C.

Employment Restriction:

Not available to employees of Great Southern Wood Preserving, Incorporated or their immediate families

Athletics Restriction:

Student-athletes in intercollegiate sports are ineligible

Online Learning:

Exclusively online or distance learning students are ineligible, except when online courses are required by the on-campus curriculum

Personal Attributes:

Demonstrated leadership skills, community involvement, self-motivation, and strong desire to overcome challenges
