Eligibility
Hold a high school diploma (for undergraduate programs) or a bachelor’s degree (for master’s programs). Be between 18-25 years old. Be in good physical and mental health. Have no criminal record. Meet the language proficiency requirements: For Chinese-taught programs: HSK Level 5 (minimum 180 points) For English-taught programs: IELTS 5.5+ or TOEFL 80+

Application Procedure
Submit your application via JNU’s online portal .
Application Deadline: March 20 - June 10, 2025.
Copy of valid passport
High school diploma and transcripts (notarized)
Language proficiency certificates (HSK, IELTS, TOEFL, etc.)
Personal statement (study plan and motivation letter)
Recommendation letter (from a teacher or employer)
Physical examination report (for medical programs)
Certificate of No Criminal Record
Shortlisted candidates may be required to attend an interview. Final selection is merit-based, considering academic records and language proficiency.
Successful applicants will receive a JNU Admission Notice and Visa Application Form (JW202). Apply for a Student Visa (X1/X2) at your local Chinese Embassy.
