Eligibility
This scholarship is open to: Future undergraduate and postgraduate coursework students International students applying for the 2024-2025 intakes at La Trobe University Students from countries other than Australia or New Zealand Full fee-paying students (those who are not sponsored or holding humanitarian or permanent visas) To qualify, applicants must apply to one of the eligible courses offered at La Trobe University and meet the academic performance standards outlined above. Humanitarian and permanent visa holders are not eligible for this scholarship.

Application Procedure
No separate application is required for the La Trobe High Achiever Scholarship. Students will be automatically considered when they apply for an eligible undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program at La Trobe University. The percentage of the tuition fee discount awarded will be based on the student’s WAM (Weighted Average Mark) and overall eligibility.
Once the offer has been accepted and the required deposit has been paid, the scholarship amount will be reflected on the student’s statement of account. The reduction will only be applied after the census date.

How Is the Scholarship Paid?
The La Trobe High Achiever Scholarship is applied as a discount to tuition fees for each subject studied, for the entire duration of the course. Once the scholarship offer is included in the student’s Letter of Offer, they need to accept the offer and pay the required deposit before the scholarship discount is applied.
It’s essential for students to meet all the conditions mentioned in the offer and pay the acceptance deposit on time. Failing to do so could result in the withdrawal of the scholarship.
