The Linly Heflin Scholarship supports women pursuing:
Undergraduate Degrees (4-year programs)
The scholarship does not cover graduate, postgraduate, or vocational programs.
Eligibility
To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must meet all of the following requirements:
Gender: Must be a woman
Residency: Must be a resident of Alabama
Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen
Education Level: Must be a current high school senior or a college student planning to pursue or continue undergraduate studies
College Location: Must attend or plan to attend a four-year Alabama college or university
Accreditation: The institution must be accredited by SACS
Academic Merit: Must have a strong academic record (typically includes an ACT score of 23 or higher)
Financial Need: Must demonstrate significant economic need
