Eligibility

The MTCP scholarship is open to high-achieving graduates who meet the following criteria: Citizenship: You must be a citizen of a country on the list of MTCP recipient countries. You can find this list on the MTCP website https://mtcp.kln.gov.my/. Educational Intent: You must intend to pursue a full-time Master's degree program in Malaysia. Age: In most cases, you must be under 45 years old at the time of application. Academic Qualifications: You must have a strong academic background, typically a minimum of a Second Class Upper Honours degree (or equivalent) from your undergraduate studies. English Language Proficiency: You must demonstrate English language proficiency. This is usually met by achieving a minimum score on the IELTS or TOEFL exams, or by having completed your previous degree in English. Health: You must be in good health, as certified by a doctor. University Admission: You must have a valid offer letter from a Malaysian university for your chosen Master's program. Application Procedure

Applications are exclusively accepted through the online system .

Required Documents (upload in PDF format):

Online Application Form: Complete the application form within the online system.
University Admission Offer: Submit your most recent offer letter for a Master's program at a Malaysian university for the 2023 academic intake (refer to the program's list of eligible universities).
Recommendation Letters: Provide two (2) recommendation letters written by referees familiar with your academic background.
Statement of Intent: Compose a compelling statement outlining your motivations for pursuing this Master's program and your future goals.

Academic Transcript: Upload a certified copy of your academic transcript. This document should include:

A record of all courses taken throughout your undergraduate degree program.
Transcripts specifically from your undergraduate studies.
An official document from your university explaining the grading system if your transcript lacks CGPA, marks, or percentile information. (Ensure all documents are certified.)
Curriculum Vitae (CV): Include a current and updated CV.

English Language Proficiency: Demonstrate your English language skills by submitting either:

A certified copy of your English language proficiency test result (TOEFL/IELTS/PTE/CAE/CPE/MUET or equivalent).
An official letter from your previous institution confirming English as the primary language of instruction for your completed degree(s).
Passport: Upload a certified copy of your valid passport (validity must be at least 18 months from the application date).
Medical Examination Report: Provide a recent medical examination report completed by a licensed physician.
COVID-19 Vaccination Proof: Submit documentation confirming your COVID-19 vaccination status.
