Mauritius Government Scholarships 2025 (Fully Funded) is available to undertake Masters, PhD, Bachelor level programs at Mauritius Universities.

Duration of the Scholarship The scholarship will support students for the minimum course duration or the maximum duration indicated below, whichever is lesser: Undergraduate Diploma: Up to 3 years Undergraduate Degree: Up to 4 years MPhil: Up to 2.5 years (including thesis defense) MPhil/PhD: Up to 4.5 years (including thesis defense) PhD: Up to 3.5 years (including thesis defense)

To qualify for the Mauritius – Africa Scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements: For Undergraduate Programs: Age: Applicants should be above 18 and below 26 years of age as of January 1, 2026. Academic Admission: Applicants must have already applied for a full-time on-campus undergraduate program at a recognized public higher education institution in Mauritius. For MPhil, MPhil/PhD, and PhD Programs: Age: Applicants must be under 40 years old by January 1, 2026. Academic Admission: Applicants should have applied for a postgraduate program at a public higher education institution in Mauritius.

Submit your application through your country’s Nominating Agency, typically part of the Ministry of Education.
Ensure your application form is endorsed by the Nominating Agency before submission.
