It's important to note that the McCall MacBain Scholarships do not cover graduate certificates, executive master’s programs (EMBA, IMHL), PhDs, or joint degree programs. Students in qualifying-year programs can apply at the beginning of their qualifying year for the master’s degree at McGill.

Eligibility

For the McCall MacBain Scholarship in Canada for the 2025 academic year, eligibility is determined by the following criteria:

Candidates must be either Canadian or U.S. citizens, or international students to be considered eligible for the scholarship.
The ideal candidate should be less than 30 years old at the time of application.
Applicants should be current students on track to earn their first bachelor’s degree by August 2025.
Candidates must have earned their first bachelor’s degree within the last five years (from January 2019 onwards).
OR
If the first bachelor’s degree was obtained more than five years ago, applicants should still be 30 years or younger in the year 2024.
To be eligible for the scholarship, candidates must pass an English proficiency test.
Higher chances of enrollment can be achieved if candidates have a thesis in French.

The McCall MacBain Scholarship encompasses:

Tuition and fees throughout the standard duration of the master’s or professional program.
A substantial living stipend of $2,000 per month provided during academic terms.
A one-time grant for relocation upon moving to Montréal.
For scholars not engaged in academic terms during the summer, there is an opportunity to apply for funding of up to $5,000 to pursue meaningful and enriching summer experiences.

Application Procedure

To apply for the McCall MacBain Scholarship for the 2024-2025 academic year in Canada, follow these steps:

Fill out the application form with accurate and detailed information. Ensure that all sections of the form are completed thoroughly.
