Environmentally Responsible & Socially Beneficial Research: Your proposed research project must demonstrate a clear commitment to both environmental sustainability and positive social impact. Monash's Competitive Selection Process: Your academic record, research experience, and research outputs will be evaluated to ensure you meet the high standards of Monash's scholarship selection process. English Language Proficiency: You must demonstrate proficiency in English as per Monash University's requirements.

Application Procedure

The application process for the SJMN is streamlined and integrated with your graduate research program application. Here's what you need to know: Single Application: You don't need to submit a separate application for the scholarship. A single application for your chosen program automatically considers you for all relevant graduate research scholarships, including the SJMN (if eligible). Automatic Consideration: As long as you submit your application for admission by Round 4 of the year the scholarship is offered (October 31st deadline), you'll be automatically considered for nomination by the relevant faculty. Faculty Invitation (New Applicants): If you're a new applicant, securing an invitation to apply from the relevant faculty is crucial before starting your application.
