Eligibility

To apply for the Nanjing University CSC Scholarship 2026–2027, applicants must meet the following requirements:

Must be a non-Chinese citizen in good physical and mental health

For Master’s programs:

Hold a Bachelor’s degree
Be under 35 years old

For PhD programs:

Hold a Master’s degree
Be under 40 years old
Students currently completing their degree must submit a pre-graduation certificate (graduation by the next year )

Meet language requirements:

A. Chinese-taught programs:

HSK 4–5 for admission
HSK 5–6 for graduation

B. English-taught programs:

IELTS 6.0 / TOEFL 85 / Duolingo 100
HSK 3 required before graduation
Must not be receiving any other Chinese scholarship during the same academic year
Scholarship Duration
Master’s Degree: 2–3 years
Doctoral Degree (PhD): 4 years
Scholarship renewal is subject to annual academic performance review, research progress, and compliance with university regulations.

Academic transcripts and degree certificates
Two recommendation letters
Language proficiency certificates

Physical examination report (within 6 months)

Applicants passing the initial review will be assessed by departments in February of the current year.

Selection And Admission
