Eligibility
To qualify for the Vice-Chancellor’s International Excellence Scholarship, applicants must:
Be a new international student applying for the first time to the University of Waikato.
Have received a conditional or unconditional offer of place.
Hold a minimum GPA equivalent to a B+ in previous qualifications.
Be applying for a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate (taught) program.
Submit the application before the trimester deadlines:
30 November (A Trimester)
30 April (B Trimester)
31 August (C Trimester)
31 October (H or X Trimester)
Applicants are not eligible if:
They are currently enrolled at Waikato or in limited-entry programs (e.g., Master of Nursing Practice).
They have paid tuition fees or applied for a visa at the time of application.
They are studying through sponsorship, credit transfer, or exchange agreements.

Once registered, log in to your MyWaikato portal.
