NIDA Australia Scholarships 2025 (Funding up to $102,000) is available to undertake Masters, Bachelor level programs at National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA).

Eligibility

Current Students: Students entering their first, second, or third year of a full-time Higher Education course (Bachelor or Master of Fine Arts degrees) can apply for scholarships at the beginning of the academic year. New Students: Scholarships are available for new students starting in the 2025 intake. Financial Need Most NIDA scholarships prioritize students who can demonstrate a significant financial need. This includes those facing financial hardships that may hinder their ability to pursue their studies without assistance. Specific Eligibility Groups NIDA offers scholarships specifically designed for the following groups: Rural or Remote Students: Students from rural or remote areas often face unique challenges in accessing education. These scholarships aim to support their journey to NIDA. Female-Identifying Students: NIDA is committed to gender equality and offers scholarships to support female-identifying students in their studies. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People: Scholarships are available to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students to help them achieve their educational goals. Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) Students: These scholarships support students from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Domestic Applicants Scholarships are primarily available to domestic applicants, including: Citizens or Permanent Residents of Australia Citizens of New Zealand Holders of an Australian Humanitarian Visa Scholarship Timing NIDA offers scholarships at different stages of the academic journey: Pre-Arrival Scholarships: These scholarships are awarded before students begin their studies at NIDA and can provide support for the first year or even the entire NIDA program. Annual Scholarships: NIDA offers scholarships to first, second, and third-year students at the beginning of each academic year. Application Procedure

Course Application: Submit your course application form(s) to study at NIDA.
Scholarship Application: Once your course application is complete, submit your scholarship application form. There is a single form for all scholarships.
Assessment: After your audition or interview, if you are offered a place at NIDA, your scholarship application will be assessed.
Documentation and Interview: You may need to submit additional documentation to support your application and may be required to attend an interview.
Scholarship Payments
Fortnightly Payments: If awarded a scholarship, you will receive payments on a fortnightly basis during the academic term.
