Eligibility
Open to candidates with a master’s degree or PhD in economics, statistics, or related fields
Suitable postgraduate qualifications include agricultural economics, environmental economics, international economics, health economics, development economics, econometrics, and statistics
Fellowship conditional upon successful completion of postgraduate degree if still studying at the time of application
Sound grasp of economic and statistical theory
Ability to apply knowledge to real-world problems
Data and information analysis for problem-solving
Clear and concise written and verbal communication, especially translating complex ideas to non-specialists
Resilience and problem-solving skills
Interpersonal skills, cultural sensitivity, and political acumen
Patience and humility to learn new contexts and accept advice
Adaptability and flexibility in resource-constrained environments
Management and work-related skills:Strong organizational skills, including task prioritization and delegation
Willingness to consult and advocate
Good time management
Ability to take initiative and work without supervision
Project management
Report writing
