Eligibility

To qualify for the P.E.O. International Peace Scholarship 2026, applicants must:

Be a woman from outside the U.S. and Canada pursuing an advanced degree in one of these countries. Intend to return to her home country after completing her studies to promote peace and development. Have at least one full year of coursework remaining and be enrolled and in residence for the full academic year. Be enrolled in a formal on-campus program (scholarships are not available for online courses, research-only, or internships). Doctoral candidates who have completed coursework and are only working on dissertations are not eligible as first-time applicants. Students attending Cottey College are also eligible to apply.
