PAEC Universidad Europea - OAS Scholarships Fall 2024 is available to undertake level programs at Universidad Europea.
Eligibility
Be a citizen or legal permanent resident of a member country of the GS/OAS.
Be admitted to a specific program at the European University. This means having a final acceptance letter confirming you meet program requirements and have paid the registration fee.
Not have previously received an OAS scholarship for the same level of study.
Not be a GS/OAS official, contractor, staff member of a Permanent Mission to the OAS, or a relative of any of these people.
How Are Applicants Selected?
Academic Merit: A committee will evaluate your academic record, achievements, and qualifications.
Geographic Need: The scholarship considers applications from countries with greater needs based on the UN's Human Development Index.
Diversity: The selection process aims for a balanced distribution by gender, region within Spain (where the university is located), and field of study (e.g., science, humanities).
Additional Considerations: The committee may also consider the current humanitarian situation in your country and the potential impact you can make after completing your studies.

The scholarships represent an economic benefit of a 50% discount on the total tuition cost and are only applicable to the value of the study program.

Application Procedure
Step 1: Apply to the European University Program You must first be admitted to a specific program at the European University. Make sure you meet all the program's admission requirements. To secure your spot while scholarship decisions are made, you'll need to pay a reservation or registration fee. Step 2: Apply for the Scholarship (After Program Admission) Once you're admitted to a program and receive your acceptance letter, you'll be eligible to apply for the scholarship. The European University will send you a separate application form to complete for scholarship consideration. The deadline for this scholarship is 30th August 2024. Step 3: Scholarship Selection Process The OAS and European University will work together to select scholarship recipients on the basis of Academic Merit, Geographic Need and Diversity. Step 4: Scholarship Results Announcement Scholarship results will be announced on the OAS and European University websites during the week of September 9, 2024. The European University will directly contact students who are awarded scholarships. Step 5: Scholarship Acceptance and Starting Classes Only selected candidates will be contacted by the European University via email with details about accepting the scholarship offer and next steps. Once you accept the scholarship, you'll need to finalize payment procedures directly with the European University.
