To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must meet all of the following requirements:
Enrollment Status
Be in the first or second year of a full-time doctoral (PhD) program at the time of application
Academic Background
Demonstrate strong academic excellence, supported by transcripts, publications, conference presentations, or equivalent achievements
Field & Research Focus
Doctoral research must fall within humanities or social sciences
Research must align with at least one of the Foundation’s four themes
Leadership & Engagement
Show leadership potential, community involvement, and commitment to public engagement
Research should extend beyond academia and positively impact society
Values Alignment
Demonstrate openness, respect for diverse perspectives, collaboration, and willingness to engage in civil dialogue
Note: Students in the final year of a master’s degree are not eligible.
