This programme combines two previous national initiatives— SFI Industry RD&I Fellowship and IRC Enterprise Partnership Scheme (Postdoctoral) —to support innovation through academic-industry partnerships.

Eligibility Criteria

Placement Stream
Eligible Applicants : Faculty members, Postdoctoral researchers, and late-stage PhD students.
Fellowship Location : Fellows will be based in an industry or enterprise setting.
Duration : From 1 to 24 months (available full-time or part-time).
Objective : To provide hands-on industry experience.
Previous Name : Industry RD&I Fellowship.
Partnership Stream
Eligible Applicants : Postdoctoral researchers and late-stage PhD students.
Fellowship Location : Fellows will be based within a Higher Education Institution (HEI).
Duration : 12 or 24 months.
Objective : To pursue academic research in partnership with enterprise.
Previous Name : Enterprise Partnership Scheme (Postdoctoral).
Who Can Be An Enterprise Partner
All applicants must collaborate with an industry or enterprise partner , which can include:
Multinational corporations (MNCs)
Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs)
Registered charities or nonprofit organizations
Cultural, social, or civic bodies
(For Partnership Stream) Public sector agencies or eligible public bodies
