Eligibility
To apply, you must: Be a Grade 12 student or recent high school/GED graduate (within the last two years). Reside in Saskatchewan. Plan to pursue agriculture-related post-secondary education in Canada starting Fall 2025. Applications from Indigenous, disabled, and visible minority students are strongly encouraged. Note: Immediate family members of Ministry of Agriculture and Saskatchewan Crop Insurance Corporation employees are not eligible.

Application Procedure
Application Form: Complete the official form . Creative Submission: Choose one: A 3-minute video. A 1,000-word essay. Additional Documents: Conditional acceptance letter from a post-secondary institution. Recommendation letter from a teacher, professor, agriculture leader, or community leader. Deadline: March 1, 2025 Application Theme Your submission should focus on solutions to challenges in agriculture. Answer at least one of these guiding questions: What innovative solutions are addressing current agricultural challenges? How can the industry enhance transparency and public trust? How can education and outreach programs build awareness of agricultural advancements? Include sourced evidence and personal perspectives for a compelling submission. Evaluation Process Submissions will be judged on: Theme alignment and idea development. Structure, clarity, and creativity. Professionalism. Leadership qualities and community involvement (evident in recommendation letters).
