Academic Fellowships:

SEAI-Based Fellowships:

Measuring the incidence and distribution of energy programme costs and benefits.

Evaluating energy programme outcomes using mixed and qualitative methods.

Exploring behavioral science approaches to altering energy-related behaviors.

Future-proofing households against fossil fuel price fluctuations, focusing on low-income and vulnerable communities.

Eligibility

To be eligible for the SEAI Energise Fellowship Programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Educational Qualification:

Must be a postdoctoral researcher or an experienced researcher.
Should have obtained a PhD degree or equivalent research experience.

Institutional Support:

Applicants must be supported by a third-level educational institution in Ireland.
Proof of affiliation or a support letter from the institution must be provided.

Research Focus:

The proposed research must align with SEAI’s Research Development and Demonstration (RDD) objectives.
Must focus on clean energy transition, policy impact, or energy programme evaluation.

Residency and Location Requirements:

For SEAI-Based Fellowships, the fellow must be based at the SEAI head office in Dublin during the award period.

Language Proficiency:

Proficiency in English is required, as all documents and reports must be submitted in English.
