Seoul National University South Korea Scholarships 2025-2026. (Fully Funded) is available to undertake Masters, PhD level programs at Seoul National University.

Eligibility

Applicants must meet the specific criteria for each scholarship program:

Be a faculty member of a major university in a developing country without a Ph.D. degree.
Be a newly admitted Ph.D. student at SNU, with priority given to faculty members from major universities in developing countries.
Non-Korean applicants currently enrolled or graduated from eligible countries.
Applied and accepted into SNU.
Applied for the designated college/school participating in the GSFS Program.
Overseas Korean students seeking graduate degrees at SNU.
International students applying for SNU’s graduate programs
SPF: Approximately 8 recipients each semester.
GSFS: Approximately 20.
Overseas Koreans Scholarship: Not specified.
KGSP/GKS: Approximately 40~60 every year.

Application Procedure

Applicants interested in any of the scholarships must follow these common steps:

Apply online for admission to SNU's graduate programs during the international student admission period.
Check the ' Application for Scholarship ' box in the application form.

Selection Procedure:

SPF: Submission of application documents to SNU OIA → SNU Admission Results → Interview → Decision noticed.
GSFS: Selection made by respective Colleges/Schools based on admission documents → Decision noticed.
Overseas Koreans Scholarship : Submit applications to Korean embassies → Embassies make the first selection → Overseas Koreans Foundation makes the second selection.
KGSP/GKS : Choose one of the application methods (University Recommendation Program or Embassy Recommendation Program) → The National Institute for International Education makes the selection.
