To be eligible for the SFM Foundation Scholarship, applicants must:
Be the natural, adopted, stepchild, or full dependent of a worker who was seriously injured or killed in a work-related accident.
The parent or guardian must have been employed by a Minnesota- or Iowa-based employer and eligible for benefits under the Minnesota Workers' Compensation Act, Iowa Workers' Compensation Act, or a comparable work-related injury compensation program.
Be a resident of Minnesota or Iowa.
Be between 16 and 27 years of age.
