Non-degree exchange program (Undergraduate and Graduate exchange students)
Eligibility
Applicants must meet the following criteria to qualify for the GKS Exchange Program:
Must be an officially accepted exchange student by a Korean partner university.
Must be nominated by the home university’s international office.
Must meet the academic requirements set by both the home and host universities.
Must not hold Korean nationality (dual citizenship with Korea is typically ineligible).
Must possess strong academic standing and good physical and mental health.
Must agree to follow NIIED guidelines during the exchange period.

Home University Nomination
Students must first apply for an exchange program through their home institution.
Document Submission

University Recommendation to NIIED
The Korean host university recommends eligible students to NIIED for the scholarship.
Final Selection
NIIED announces the final list of GKS scholarship recipients.
