Eligibility
To qualify for the Schmidt Science Fellows 2026 program, applicants must meet the following criteria: Academic Qualification: Must be completing a PhD in natural sciences, engineering, mathematics, or computing PhD Completion Date: Must complete all doctoral degree requirements between May 15, 2025, and June 30, 2026 Nomination Requirement: Must be nominated by an official at a partner institution (e.g., Technical University of Munich, Germany) Research Focus: Candidates should demonstrate a strong interdisciplinary approach and leadership potential
