Eligibility

To apply for this Asia Foundation Fellowship, applicants must:

Be 40 years old or younger (born after October 13, 1985)

Be a citizen of one of the eligible Asia-Pacific countries or regions:

Be fluent in English

Demonstrate leadership potential with a minimum of three years of professional experience

Show a strong commitment to peacebuilding and conflict resolution

Be available to participate in the full October 13–24, 2025 program

Be able to obtain a U.S. visa

Eligible Nationalities

This fellowship is open to applicants from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, Indonesia, Japan, Laos, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pacific Islands, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Vietnam .
