Scholarships will be awarded three times per year - Spring, Summer, and Fall semesters - and will be paid directly to the school/organization providing the education/training.
Scholarships are granted for only one semester at a time, but applicants can reapply for additional semesters.
Applicants granted scholarships will be required to provide full social security numbers and grant permission to have their names published on our website.

Application Procedure
Head over to our online application portal and fill out the form. It shouldn't take long! 2. Gather and Submit Supporting Documents: Professional Development Plan: We need a detailed plan outlining your professional development goals. Explain how the proposed course will help you achieve these goals within your workplace or overall career. Be sure to include the specific course/seminar information and the organization offering the training. Enrollment Verification & Course Information: Please submit three documents: Enrollment Verification: This document from your university/organization confirms your current student status. Class Schedule: Let us know which classes you'll be taking for the upcoming semester. Itemized Tuition Statement: We need a detailed breakdown of your tuition costs directly from the university/organization. A general cost estimate from the university website won't suffice. Letter of Support (One Page Maximum): They require a letter of support on official school/medical facility stationery from your principal/supervisor. This letter should: Confirm your job description, employment status, and length of service. Express your supervisor's support for your professional development proposal and how it will benefit you. 3. Sending Your Documents: Scan all of the above documents (Professional Development Plan, Enrollment Verification, Class Schedule, Tuition Statement, and Letter of Support) and email them to Sandra.Mahoney@TheMahoneyFamilyFoundation.org. Scholarship Awarding and Renewal: Scholarships are awarded three times a year: Spring, Summer, and Fall semesters. We pay the scholarship funds directly to the school/organization providing your education/training. Important Notes: Scholarships are granted for one semester at a time. However, you can reapply for additional semesters if needed. If chosen, you will be required to provide your full Social Security number and grant permission for your name to be published on our website. Submission Deadlines: Fall Semester: August 1st, 2024 Spring Semester: December 15th, 2024 We encourage you to apply early!
