Eligibility
To be eligible for the Thunderbirds Scholars Program, applicants must:
Graduate from an Arizona high school or equivalent
Have a minimum GPA of 3.5
Plan to enroll as an incoming freshman in Fall 2026
Secure admission to ASU, UA, or NAU
Submit two letters of recommendation:
One academic
One personal
Maintain full-time enrollment throughout the program
Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.5 for renewal
Agree that the scholarship cannot be combined with other merit-based scholarships (needs-based federal aid is allowed)
