Eligibility
The Tomorrow’s Leaders Program is highly competitive, targeting outstanding students from MENA countries. The eligibility criteria differ slightly for undergraduate and graduate applicants: For Undergraduates: Applicants must hold citizenship or nationality from Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Syria, Tunisia, the West Bank/Gaza, or Yemen. U.S. citizens or Legal Permanent Residents are not eligible. High school seniors or 2024 high school graduates are eligible to apply. Applicants from Iraq, Libya, Syria, West Bank/Gaza, and Yemen who graduated in 2023 are also eligible. Strong academic credentials and leadership potential are required. Proficiency in English is mandatory, with a minimum TOEFL iBT score of 80 required for university admission. Applicants must demonstrate maturity, adaptability, and a commitment to travel and start their program in August 2025. For Graduates: Applicants must have citizenship from the same eligible MENA countries as undergraduates. They must exhibit strong academic credentials and leadership potential, along with English proficiency as required by their chosen graduate program. Graduate applicants must commit to completing their master’s degree within two academic years. Financial need must be demonstrated through supporting documentation, and applicants should come from underrepresented or economically deserving backgrounds.

This support includes: Full tuition and enrollment fees: Participants receive full coverage for their tuition and related university costs, removing the financial burden of higher education. University housing: Scholarship recipients are provided with comfortable and safe housing during their studies. Monthly living stipend: A monthly allowance ensures that students can focus on their academic and leadership development without worrying about living expenses. Entrance visa and residency permit fees: All visa and residency costs are covered for the duration of the program. Health insurance: Comprehensive university health insurance is provided to safeguard the well-being of participants. Textbooks and laptop: Essential academic materials, including textbooks and laptops, are supplied to enhance the learning experience. Two round-trip tickets home per year: To maintain connections with their families, students receive round-trip airfare home twice annually. Study abroad semester in the U.S. (for undergraduates): Undergraduate participants have the unique opportunity to spend a semester studying in the United States, gaining invaluable international experience. Research assistantships (for graduates): Graduate students can participate in research assistantships, gaining practical skills and insights into their academic fields. This comprehensive package ensures that participants can fully immerse themselves in their academic journey, develop critical leadership skills, and engage meaningfully in civic and community-based initiatives.
